Sufian Wajid

Meet Sufian, a Development Partner we love working with!

Even as a young teenager, Sufian knew he was going to be a software engineer back when he was deep into gaming and computers but hadn't yet discovered there were actual programming languages to learn! By 16, he was teaching himself JavaScript and HTML, cloning websites to show his father, and installing Unity to create a 3D model of his own house (because why not?). After completing a Computer Science degree and a .NET internship at a small agency, he landed a role where he taught himself React Native and spent years mastering it, with Python and AI coming into play later at his most recent company.

While React Native is where Sufian has built years of experience, AI is just as much his specialty and the space that really excites him. He loves how it helps him deliver smarter, more thoughtful work, cutting through the noise so he can focus on architecture, problem-solving, and the kind of craft that makes a real difference to the end product. Right now, he's drawn to impactful projects, especially those around wellbeing, where technology can make a real-world difference.

Outside of work, Sufian is all about family and gaming. He's incredibly close to his parents and siblings, visiting Pakistan a few times a year to spend time with them. And when he's not travelling? You'll find him on Call of Duty with his brother and friends (P.S. it's mandatory, not optional).

a bit more about

Sufian

What’s the weirdest app idea you’ve ever had?

A clone of myself. Sometimes I already know what to do, but I’m emotionally biased. I’d love a version of me that can give advice without emotional attachment and challenge my decisions objectively.

What’s your go-to snack?

Bounty chocolate or cupcakes, depends on the mood.

Favourite personal quote or motto

“No one becomes successful alone. There’s always a turning point where someone helps you move forward, so never think ‘I did it all myself.’”
